Victoriaville Parkade

Victoriaville Parkade: Entrance located on the corner of Donald St. and Syndicate Avenue

The Parkade Garage has 620 stalls and was built in 1977.

Daily rate $1.00/hour to a maximum daily rate of $5.00,  with Security during the day

Monthly rate $51.00

Rates in effect 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

3 hour parking in the Victoriaville parkade.

The Parking Authority have designated 12 spaces as parking for short term visitors to Victoriaville mall. There is a limit of 3 hours to allow the parking to turn-over for other visitors. The location is conveniently located in the first drive aisle when you enter the parkade, as well as close to the paystation and stairwell to the mall.

The Parking Authority have installed signing in the parkade to identify these spaces.


 Brodie Street On Street Parking

On Street Parking:   Approximately 321 metered parking spaces in the area between Donald St. and Miles St., and between Simpson St. and Vickers St. This is the prime area where people would wish to park while visiting Fort William.


The current parking meter rates are:
          $0.25  - 12 minutes
          $1.00 - 48 minutes
          $2.00 - 96 minutes

The meters have a maximum parking time of 2 hours.

Solar Power on Victoriaville Parkade

Thunder Bay, ON – January 19, 2013 ---  Thunder Bay Hydro’s first two Victoriaville Parkade roofcommercial solar photovoltaic (PV) systems are now generating power on City of Thunder Bay buildings. Combined, the 280 kilowatt (kW) system on the Victoriaville Parkade

“The cooperative nature of a project like this cannot be underestimated. Over a dozen local
companies and organizations worked together successfully on these installations. I’d like to express our gratitude for the effort it took to make it happen,” says Jim Kibiuk, Senior Manager of Renewable Energy Development at Thunder Bay Hydro.

Construction on the two installations began in early November 2012 under Thunder Bay Hydro’s
